Welcome

The Barn has been born out of a need have a wholesome environment at Ohakune and is an outreach into the Mountain community.

At The Barn we will be running weekly Bible studies, dinner on the house and Church services, as well as movies on bad weather days and we also provide free internet to those that need to check their emails.

At The Barn we are affiliated with Snowboarders For Christ which is focused on outreaching and supporting the mountain communities right around the world.

If you would like to get involved, come along and visit us, we are located at 78 Arawa Street nestled in a little town called Ohakune which is at the base of Mt Ruapehu. Our local ski hill is Turoa and is a great place to ride or ski.

Dinner On The House

Since there have been ski towns there have been poor skiiers and snowboarder. Dinner On The House is designed to feed those poor skiiers and snowboarder.

Every Wednesday at 7pm The Barn will be providing a meal free of charge for the locals.

Check Your Email

Alot of people in ski towns are from out of town and overseas.

So we provide a PC connected to broadband to allow people to access their emails. We only have one PC, so we also have wireless so you can bring your laptop around to check your emails that way.
